Beware of imposters
People pretend to be mutual fund distributors. Sometimes they pretend to be us.
This page tells you how to check, and what to do if someone has already approached you.
Where we actually are
These are the only places we operate from. Anything else is not us.
Website — wealthyvault.in
Phone — +91 82979 72424
Email — the address on our contact page
YouTube — our Telugu channel, linked from this site
We do not run investment groups on WhatsApp or Telegram. We do not have a trading app. We do not have agents or representatives who approach people on our behalf.
If a message, call or group claims to be us from anywhere else, it is not us.
Things we will never do
We will never ask for your OTP, UPI PIN or any password. Not by phone, not by email, not on WhatsApp, not ever, for any reason. Nobody legitimate will. Anyone who asks is trying to take your money.
We will never ask you to transfer money to a personal account. Your money goes to the fund house, or to the exchange clearing account, in your own name. It never comes to us. If anyone gives you a personal bank account, UPI ID or QR code and says it is ours, it is a fraud.
We will never promise you a return. No fixed return, no guaranteed return, no "assured" anything. It is not possible and it is not legal. Every mutual fund investment can fall in value.
We will never run a group that gives daily tips or calls. We do not tell people what to buy in public, and we do not operate stock or fund tip groups under any name.
We will never contact you first with an investment opportunity. We do not cold-call, we do not send unsolicited messages about schemes, and we do not add anyone to groups.
We will never ask you to install an app or click a link to invest urgently. Urgency is the oldest tool in this business. Anything genuine can wait until you have checked.
How to check us in thirty seconds
Every mutual fund distributor in India must be registered with AMFI, and the register is public.
Go to the AMFI website, search for ARN-244686 or the name Chalamala Revanth, and see the registration for yourself.
Do this before you invest a rupee — with us, or with anyone. If someone claiming to be a distributor cannot give you an ARN, or the ARN does not match the name they gave you, stop there.
Signs that something is wrong
- A return is promised, or described as fixed, safe or guaranteed
- You are asked to pay into a personal account, UPI ID or QR code
- You are asked for an OTP, PIN or password
- You are told to hurry, or that the offer closes today
- You are added to a group you did not join
- The profile uses a real person's photo and name, but a different number
- You are asked to pay a fee, deposit or tax before you can withdraw your own money
- The returns being shown to you keep going up and never go down
That last one matters more than people realise. Real investments fall sometimes. A number that only ever rises is not an investment — it is a screen someone is controlling.
If someone has approached you
Stop and do not pay anything. Not a small amount to test it, not a fee to withdraw, not anything.
Do not share any code, PIN or password, even if you have already spoken to them for a while.
Tell us. Call or write using the details on our contact page — not a number someone gave you. We would rather hear about it, even if nothing happened, because it helps us warn other people.
Report it. You can do this yourself, and you should:
- cybercrime.gov.in — the national cybercrime portal
- 1930 — the cyber fraud helpline
- SEBI SCORES — for anything involving securities or mutual funds
If you have already paid
Report it immediately. Not tomorrow, not after you have thought about it — now.
Call 1930 and file at cybercrime.gov.in. Tell your bank at once and ask them to flag the transaction.
The first few hours matter more than anything else you can do. Money that has just moved can sometimes be frozen. Money that moved last week usually cannot.
One more thing, and please take it seriously: this is not your fault, and being embarrassed is what the fraud depends on. These operations are professional. They target careful people. The only mistake that makes the loss permanent is staying quiet about it.
Helping us
If you see an account, group, video or page using our name or photo that is not listed on this site, tell us. Report it on the platform too.
We check what we can, but we cannot see everything. Most of what gets taken down gets taken down because someone told us.
